Over the past few years I have not stopped making recordings; it is just that market conditions have been very unfavorable for independent classical labels releasing CDs.

As an experiment, and also to show off what I think is one of the most successful recording setups I have used so far, I offer for sale CD-Quality, 24/96, and 24/192 downloads of a single track, a new performance of the organ piece “Jul.”

To the extent that “Jul” is not totally obscure, it is known from having been the organ solo on the Proprius LP and CD Cantate Domino, of stereo-store fame, back when there were lots of stereo stores. Complete information is on the “Jul” Download page here.

Here’s how this will work: Choose the resolution you want, and send me the corresponding PayPal payment by clicking on the appropriate button. When I receive your payment, I will then send you an invitation to join the Dropbox folder for that resolution, whether CD-Quality, 24/96, or 24/192 PCM. When you receive the invitation, click on it to access the file, which will be a .wav file losslessly compressed as a .zip file.

Two requests: One, please do not remove the master file from my Dropbox folder; just copy it to your Desktop. Second, please play this file for your friends but also please encourage them to buy their own copies, which will help with the substantial expenses of this project.
